♥♥♥ mills madness photography ♥♥♥

So, I have always loved beautiful pictures and I have wanted to try professional photography for a long time now. Well, this weekend one of my dreams came true. My beautiful sister purchased her a new outstanding professional camera and said that I could have her current camera which is also outstanding. I couldn't believe she offered it to me this was completely unexpected. I am so grateful and lucky to have such a wonderful, beautiful, caring, generous sister. I am so excited because I have always dreamed of owning a professional camera so I could take detailed photographs to capture wonderful memories. I am now looking forward to learning everything I can about my new camera and photography.

Currently I have a little hand held Casio which is cute, thin, red and actually takes beautiful pictures but there is so much I can't do with it. Above are a few photos I took with my little Casio. I know I have already posted two of these but the first one my sister edited for me and made it look even more beautiful. The other two photos have not been edited, I actually captured the gorgeous detail in these photos. Oh, I lied : ) I did edit my new name. I have decided that my copyright will be mills madness photography. I chose that because first of all I love mills madness. That describes my family...madness, loving madnes...lol. Second my website is millsmadness.com which current have a ton of viewers. (Only because of the Twilight stuff but I will start construction soon to transform it into my photography website.) Third my blog is mills madness. I just thought I would stick with what I think is a good thing.

I am so exited and I hope someday to be good enough to make this a career and share this dream with my beautiful sister Ashley.

SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS

So if you know me then you know I have been having massive problems with my back. It has been about four months of hell so far. On Tuesday the 17th I had an outpatient procedure done which was a steroid shot in my Sacroiliac Joint. It was one of the most painful experiences I have ever had. It was a horrible day and it all started when I got to St. Joesph's Outpatient Surgery Center. During check in the receptionist and whoever else screwed up my insurance told me I had to pay $250.00 which was a deductible. When I told them they had it wrong she told me "we never get things wrong. I have verified your insurance myself and this is what you have to pay, maybe you don't know your coverage." (There was no way this stupid woman was going to budge.)
That was it! I wanted to jump in that window and strangle this lady. I was so upset I was crying. I said" I need the phone number to callback for a refund because I will be talking to my insurance just to confirm but I am 100% sure you are wrong and I will be getting this money back." Anyway, I paid and went back to get ready for the procedure. I was completely nervous, pissed off and it didn't help that my doctor was 1 hour late so it gave me extra time to dwell on the injection I was about to have. So when he finally arrived he went over everything and wheeled me back to the operating room. He gave me a numbing medicine first which hurt but then he started poking around with what I think was a needle checking to see if I was numb...WHICH I WASN'T! So they gave me a second numbing shot. By that time I was crying and then came the steroid shot; this was the worst! It hurt so bad I can't even describe it! I just know that I do not want another one. Well, I guess if this shot works then I might get another.
So to top off my bad experience I had a reaction to the injection which caused all my muscles to tense up in my left leg and my back was hurting extremely bad. My doctor said I needed to stay in bed and rest. He said it will get better but I was not allowed to go to work. So I laid in bed up until yesterday and I have to say I am feeling a little better but I still hurt.
So with all that said I hope this shot works and my back gets better but we will see. Until then I will just have to deal with the back pain!
Oh boy, what a horrible experience that was!!!

V-Day Tulips

Well, for Valentines Day Jake and the boys got me some beautiful tulips and made me a nice card. We very rarely celebrate Valentines Day because Jake thinks it's a Hallmark holiday. So I was really surprised to see beautiful bright red tulips when I woke up.

I decided to try and capture some of the beauty by taking a few pictures with my camera. I had a lot of fun and here are my two favorite photos I took. I look forward to taking a lot more photos in the future.

Well, we just spent the day relaxing and then we took the boys out for lunch to Red Robin. It was so cute because Cameron did not want to comb his hair before we left home but when we got to the restaurant he was so shy he wouldn't take off his hood. (I wish I had a picture of that.)

I love my husband and my boys so much they are so good to me. Until the next Valentines Day ♥

*TWILIGHT SPOOF*

Twilight spoof that I thought was funny.

Amy, when I saw the spoof you posted I just had to post this for you to see.

♥ B

*MoNsTeR jAm*

We all went to Monster Jam last weekend and we all had a blast. The boys got 2 bags of cotton candy, 3 huge cookies, 2 sodas, nachos, 2 waters and I think I am forgetting something else. Anyway I thought they were going to be sick and they still wanted more snacks.

Well, I believe this is the 3rd time we have taken the boys to Monster Jam. We also brought my nephew Travis with us. This was his first time.

Lets see The Bounty Hunter won Monster Jam and he was very deserving of the prize. Now of course everyone always wants The Grave Digger to win but not this time. There were 2 big wrecks which I have to admit they were awesome to see. (Gosh, that's so horrible I am amused at someone potentially getting hurt.) Of course no one got hurt and I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

So when we were on our way home I asked everyone what there favorite part was and these are the responses I got.

Cam's response: When Grave Digger beat Blue Thunder. It was so awesome Grave Digger ramped super high into the sky!
Kee's response: I loved Backwards Bob. (mom: why?) Kee: I just do. I love everything about Backwards Bob.
Travis response: I liked all the Monster Trucks. I am so glad we got to go watch them.

Jake response: I can't remember what he said but I love him so much. Jake was sick and he took all of us to Monster Jam and even took all the boys to the bathroom multiple time and believe me that is a task!

My response: My favorite was Backwards Bob. Can you believe he can drive that fast backwards? I wonder how he learned to drive backwards so well, there was this one jump that he got so much air on...it was awesome. I still can not believe he did the whole show in reverse.

***So I get done telling my favorite part and Jake is laughing hysterically at me. See below for our conversation.****
Me: "Why are you laughing at me"
Jake: "Because of your favorite part. Are you serious?"
Me: "What? I think it's so awesome that Backwards Bob drove in reverse the entire show. I can't believe how good he was. I wonder how long he had to practice."
Jake: "I thought that he was also driving in reverse but only for the first 5 minutes. It's just the truck. They make it look like it's sitting backwards."
Me: "lol...no way...oh my gosh I thought he was driving backwards the whole show...lol"
Both of us were laughing so hard we were crying. I can't believe it Monster Jam deceived me...lol

Well, I just wanted to share our family outing with everyone. We had a really good time and I am sure we will do it again next year. So if you want to come with us let me know.

♥CELEBRATING THE CARDINALS VICTORY♥

HERE ARE A FEW PICTURES OF US CELEBRATING THE LONG AWAITED CARDINALS VICTORY!
WE ARE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!

♥ B

WE ARE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL BABY!!!

We are going to the Super Bowl! Can you believe this? The Cardinals have never been to the Super Bowl before and the last time we went to the playoffs was 1998 and we didn't get very far. Win or lose we did it this year. We have an awesome team that really pulled together in the end. My family has completely supported the Cardinals through all the tough times and finally we did it, we are in the Super Bowl!

We had a playoff party at our house tonight. We had patron shots, strawberry margaritas, corona, and root beer for the kids. We had hamburgers, hot dogs, rice crispy treats, chips, dips and tons more. Matt and the guys stopped by to take some parton shots to celebrate the Cardinals victory.

Did I say the CARDINALS ARE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whoot Whoot!

Everyone pray for a victory. Just think about it wouldn't it be nice if we won the Super Bowl, that would be so crazy! I don't know if we will win but isn't it awesome that we made it this far.

SUPER BOWL HERE WE COME...

Go Cardinals!

Our family is so excited for the Cardinals game tomorrow. We tried really hard to get tickets but I think they sold out in 6 minutes and who has money to buy them from a scalper, not us.

Jake has always been a Cardinals fan ever since I have known him. So we are not those fans who only love their home team when they are winning. Which is over half of Phoenix. It's sad that everyone doesn't stick by our team through the bad times. Oh well, at least I can say we did!

Fingers crossed for tomorrow. If the Cardinals play like they did the last two games then maybe we will actually be in the SUPER BOWL. Can you believe it! But if we don't win at least we made it this far. We had such a great team this year. Of course they have their flaws but who doesn't.

EVERYONE PRAY FOR A WIN! GO CARDINALS! GO CARDINALS! GO CARDINALS!

GRAY HAIR & HIGHLIGHTS

Well, as you all know I am getting older. I also stress and worry about pretty much everything. We can't forget my 2 boys that keep me busy. (Technically 3 boys if you count Jake) ( Love you babe...lol)

Okay, my point is I have GRAY hair. Can you believe it I am 27 years old and have GRAY hair. Well, I have been pulling them out for the past few years and I decided today that, that probably isn't the best thing to do. So I was faced with a dilemma. I love my dark brown hair but it's filled with gray. If I choose to color it dark brown then I would have to do that often which would ruin my hair.

So, I did it the last option, I got highlights. I don't really like light colored hair or highlights on myself but they are the best thing to blend gray hair. Sure enough no more noticeable gray hair but I really need to get use to the highlights because it makes my hair look really really light. (yuck)

I really hope I get use to these fast because I am really missing my dark brown hair right now. I guess I should cheer up, it should grow on me and if not I can always color it dark brown.
Oh and by worrying about this I am probably getting more GRAY hairs...lol

I have added a before and after picture...lol (Sorry it's not the best picture of me. I kind of look a little strange)

TWILIGHT REVIEW

Well, I went to the movie with low expectations. I was worried that it would not be good. I now can say I worried for nothing. I was pleasantly surprised, it was great!!! Of course it was not even close to being as good as the book but it worked. Some scenes were left out but that always happens when books are made into movies. I think the cast worked really well together. My only complaint would be there were these little girls sitting in front of us and they giggled every time Edward spoke. (Really annoying) But overall I was completely happy with the movie and cannot wait to see it again!

Our Twilight Experience~

Me & Jaime bought tickets the day they went on sale but unfortunately at that time there was not a midnight showing. So we got tickets to see the movie at 10 am on the 21st. We started the day by leaving at 7am. We played the Twilight soundtrack on our way, Jaime was dressed in her Twilight shirt (damn I wanted one) and we read the complete guide to Twilight. So we arrived at the theater and there was no one there. (I guess everyone saw the movie at midnight) So we left to get breakfast. We came back and still no one was there so we sat in the car and talked. Well, we left again (nature calls) and when we came back 2 women were waiting. As soon as we pulled up 3 more cars came. So we were second in line and after 30 minutes had past there was a huge line of crazy girls and women. I swear I seriously thought there was going to be a brawl, this one lady was trying to cut in front of us. So the doors opened at 9:40 and I went to the kiosk machine to get our tickets and wouldn't you know the damn machine was broke. So I totally cut in front of this lady at the other machine. I just leaned over and swiped my card in the machine before she could say anything. I swear I thought she was going to yell at me but she didn't say anything. Well, we got the seats we wanted and overall had an awesome time and watched a great movie.

I LOVE TWILIGHT AND CAN'T WAIT UNTIL NEW MOON COMES OUT!

Brayden was born November 9th at 12:52 pm. He was 5 lbs 9 oz and 18 inches long. He is one of the most beautiful babies I have ever seen. I am so grateful to my sister for letting me share her experience and be with her when Brayden was born. The moment I saw Brayden I loved him like one of my own.
